The „Kunsthalle Düsseldorf“is exhibiting the poetic, abstract watercolor & oil paintings and the gestural style of painting of the Austrian artist Martha Jungwirth (*1940 in Vienna). She is known as the most important representative of generation right in between the Viennese Actionists and Franz West and has developed a unique and personal style – which is reflected into the exposition. Her artworks are presented in a “intuitive setting”, which is creating the perfect atmosphere to display the up to 9-meter-long pieces of art while making room for reflective discussions.
