The Wallraf-Richartz-Museum, together with the Foundation Corboud is displaying a small, unique exhibition with seven of the few existing paintings in Germany by the artist Gustave Caillebotte (1848-1894). The painter today stands as the key figure of the impressionism next to his famous friends Degas, Monet and Renoir. He created beautiful atmospheres, enabling a journey into the past, to discover the beauty of the Seine as well as inviting us to dream. The exhibition is available until October 1st, 2023 at the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum.
