Rose am Dom Aachen is one of Aachen's oldest inns and has been committed to hospitality since the 14th century.

During the construction of the Gothic choir in Aachen Cathedral from 1353 to 1413, the stonemasons were already supplied with food and drink here. As a cathedral workshop, the house bore the name "Zur Mark." After the Aachen city fire of 1656, it was rebuilt and, like many old houses, received a new name: "Zur Rose."

Rose am Dom Aachen survived World War II severely damaged and was rebuilt by Aachen city conservator Dr. Leo Hugot according to the old model. Particularly because of the interesting cross-mullion window facade, it has been a protected monument since 1984. The rustic atmosphere of the historic inn with cathedral views makes every visit a special experience.

The menu at Rose am Dom Aachen offers rustic, typically German cuisine with seasonal offerings. The Rose team and manager Markus Breuer ensure daily between 12 and 11 pm that guests feel completely comfortable.
